Where can I download the app?
iPhone users can download Kattutharai from the App Store, and Android users from Google Play. Both links are on our download page.
What is Kattutharai?
A Tamil-first classifieds app for Tamil Nadu farmers to list and discover livestock, farm equipment and fodder locally — cows, goats and buffalo; tractors, tillers and pumps; paddy straw, napier grass and feed. We’re a listing platform like OLX or Quikr; we don’t buy or sell anything ourselves.
Is posting really free?
Yes. For farmers, posting and browsing are free, forever. Our only revenue is an optional ₹49 boost.
How does the boost work?
An optional ₹49 promotion that lifts your listing to the top of search for 7 days. Posting is always free for farmers — boost only if you want extra reach.
How do buyers and sellers connect?
Buyers open an in-app chat on a listing. You negotiate, meet in person, and complete the sale offline. Kattutharai never holds or processes the money.
How far can I see listings?
Nearest first, within 25 km, and you can widen the search up to 500 km. Distance shows on every card.
Is my phone number public?
No. Your number stays private until you choose to share it in chat.
How do I report a fake listing?
Use the report button in the app, or email support@kattutharai.com with the listing ID. We review and act within 48 hours.
Which phones does it work on?
Kattutharai works on iPhone (via the App Store) and on most low-end Android phones, Android 8 and above (via Google Play). The feed is offline-ready, so recently viewed listings stay available without internet.
